Daywise Tour Itinerary

Arrive at Maneybhanjan, the gateway to Singalila National Park and Sandakphu. This quaint hamlet sits at an altitude of 2,150 meters (7,100 ft) above sea level, right on the India-Nepal border. The name Maneybhanjan means “A valley of ancient stupas” in the local dialect. Spend the day relaxing and acclimatizing to the altitude, as an overnight stay here is recommended before starting the trek to Sandakphu.

Begin early from Maneybhanjan and journey towards Sandakphu, passing through scenic spots like Chitrey, Meghma, Tonglu/Tumling, Kalipokhri, Gairibus, and Beekay Bhanjan. As you reach the summit of Sandakphu, the highest point in West Bengal, be mesmerized by the breathtaking 270-degree panoramic view of the world’s tallest mountains. Overnight stay at Sandakphu.

Wake up early to witness a spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga from Sandakphu. Later, descend to Tonglu or Tumling, where you can enjoy mesmerizing views of Kanchenjunga and surrounding snow-clad peaks. Spend the night soaking in the tranquility of this high-altitude village.

Start the day with another unforgettable sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. From Tonglu, enjoy rare views of Kanchenjunga, Mt.
